AMI

Goals · Methods · Indicators

Plan your approach. Follow your progress.

About the product

AMI is a goal planning tool for individuals and small teams. It brings your goal, approach, measures of progress, and work updates together so you can review what happened and decide what to change.

01

Focus on one goal at a time

Each plan starts with one clear outcome. Decide what you want to achieve before choosing how to get there.

02

Connect the goal to the work

A is the goal, M is the approach, and I is the indicator. List the methods you plan to use and the data or observations that will tell you whether they are working.

03

Give AMI the context first

We plan to have AMI ask about your work, resources, and constraints before suggesting a goal or approach. You decide which suggestions to use.

04

Check the reasoning in your plan

We also plan to have AMI check whether your approach supports the goal and whether the indicators are useful. It will flag missing information for you to review.

05

Keep updates with the work

Record progress, discuss problems, and add tasks under the relevant goal or method, so you can see where things stand.

06

Look back at what changed

Follow plan changes and work updates over time to revisit what you decided and what happened next.

Development progress

Building the planning and progress tools

Current work focuses on editing goals, methods, and indicators, along with progress updates, discussions, and tasks. Help with defining goals and checking plans, scheduled reviews, and read-only sharing are planned features.
